We are looking for a motivated Embedded Software Engineer to join our Robotics team to help us develop our robots, and the underlying technology. You will work with a broad technology stack related to our autonomous robots, and you will be part of the complete development process from ideation and specification to implementation and testing.
This full-time role is ideal for both early-career, and seasoned, professionals looking to have hands-on work with robotics technology primarily within the sports industry.

The Role
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll be part of our Robotics Team, where your main focus will be on:
- Improving current products and developing our next-gen robot platform.
- Designing, implementing, and validating features and algorithms in ROS2 and firmware, as well as testing and debugging solutions in simulation and on physical robots.
- Providing technical leadership in areas of specialization and contributing original ideas and improvements to project designs, pipelines, and tools.
You’ll primarily work from our office in Svenstrup with flexible hours to fit your schedule.
What We’re Looking For
Turf Tank is looking for a profile with the following qualifications:
- The ability to transform ideas and feature requests into solutions in new and existing products.
- 3+ years of commercial experience with embedded software, firmware, electronics, and electromechanical system development.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- Programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Linux. ○ Embedded software for ROS / ROS2.
- Firmware for STM32 MCUs or similar.
- Electronics schematic and electromechanical components.
- Control theory, Localization, Navigation, State estimation, and/or Path planning.
- Suitable educational backgrounds include:
- Control and Automation.
- Robotics.
- Electronics Engineering.
- Software Engineering.
