ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

About the position:

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to help manage all forms of financial accounts within the U.S. organization. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining accurate records of both accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Qualified Candidates have:

● Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, business or related field
● 3+ years of general accounting experience
● 3+ years of experience working with accounts receivable and accounts payable
● Understand of GAAP accounting principles
● Proven organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to maintain confidentiality
● Strong attention to detail
● Familiarity with the following software programs a plus: Quickbooks, HubSpot, SaasOptics, Avalara, Expensify, Bill.com, Excel, Google platform

Key Responsibilities:

● Responsible for all cash applications for cash disbursements and cash receipts
● Responsible for AP and AR processing and reconciling
● Collaborate with team members to provide necessary financial reports to senior-level managers
● Perform administrative and other tasks as needed
● Month end bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations
● Assist controller with month end/year end
● Assist controller with ensuring all systems are integrating properly to Accounting system
